Hace escasos minutos que ha finalizado la última jornada en la cuál 6 equipos se lo jugaban todo para no descender, y que esta vez, ha caído en Galicia el descenso. El Deportivo de la Coruña baja a segunda división después de muchos años estando en la división de honor y ganando títulos y asechando siempre a rivales como el Real Madrid y Barcelona.
El Deportivo de la Coruña no era el que peor lo tenía, jugaba en casa y tenía un punto por encima del Zaragoza, que jugaba fuera. Los gallegos han perdido por 0 a 2 ante el Valencia en su propio campo, llegándole el segundo gol en el último minuto cuando todo el equipo estaba volcado por el empate que le valía la permanencia.
En el caso de que el Deportivo hubiera empatado frente al Valencia, el equipo que descendía sería el Mallorca, que ha perdido en su propio estadio frente al Sevilla por 3 goles a 4 y que estuvo en la primera vuelta en puestos europeos, estando en esta última jornada al borde del descenso.
Real Sociedad y Getafe han empatado a uno, logrando ambos equipos permanencer en primera división y firmando un “pacto de no agresión”. El Getafe se adelantó en el marcador por medio de Cata Díaz y los vascos ya se temían lo peor, pero en el minuto 65 empataron con un gol de sutil. Posteriormente ninguno quiso ver la postería hasta el final del encuentro.
El Zaragoza ganó al Levante en su propio campo por dos goles a uno, mientras que Osasuna ganó por la mínima ante un Villarreal que en las últimas jornadas se ha desinflado. Ambos equipos (Zaragoza y Osasuna) permanecen un año más en la liga BBVA.
